Seattle is clean and polite and very educated. I read that something like 70% of Seattle residents have a college degree, where as in Chicago it's only about 23%. Even the graffiti there is crisp and tidy.
This is something I don't understand. In Chicago, the curbs are painted yellow when they don't want you to park there and the fire hydrants are red. In Los Angeles it's switched (red curbs, yellow hydrants) and here it's red curbs and green hydrants. In this photo I ask the question, "Why is there no consistency?"
